This was created using photoshop and some digital manipulation. The photo was borrowed from a friend who had taken it with a digital camera two years ago. (Photography by and of Farooq Ahmed) The picture helps to speak out about more then the ‘noise’ theme that this contest requests as a theme. The tries to show a more serious side to noise, and that is the frustration and complexities of confrontation. Violence and abuse in the sense of ‘shouts’ is used to help create give meaning to this piece. Colour changes were made to give the entire picture a rusted and burnt look to it, with the white text as a contrast to the background.
