CAMERAreach
workshops are an exciting hands-on experience in photography for youth
in the Toronto District School Board.
Our instructors are professional photographic artists with extensive experience
teaching elementary and secondary students including those with special
needs. The workshops emphasize self-expression through the development
of creativity and technical skills. Our instructors
come to your school and work onsite with your class.
Workshops require a full day (one exception is noted below) and may be
customized to complement your curriculum. Instruction in French is available
for some workshops. Because CAMERAreach
workshops are subsidized by Gallery 44, public
schools pay only $75.00 plus GST and materials costs. Please
see workshop descriptions for materials' fees, which are based on a 20
participant minimum. During
these workshops, Gallery 44 requires that teacher supervision is provided
by the school for the duration of the course.
