Opening Reception:

About the Exhibition:

Gallery 44 is partnering with contemporary photography centres worldwide to exchange exhibition seasons in the form of projections.

We are working with the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre (Beijing), the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography, and the Hippolyte Photographic Gallery (Helsinki).

Another Season projection program will include works from each gallery's latest exhibition season to highlight contemporary photography being made by artists abroad, and to create adialogue on contemporary photographic trends across international boundaries.

A representative from the Detroit Centre for Contemporary Photography will be present at the reception on June 10 to introduce their gallery and programming.

These four projections will run concurrently for a week during regular hours at Gallery 44, Tuesday to Saturday 11 am to 5 pm.
